Option Uplift privacy policy

The Option Uplift privacy policy explains what this site does in your browser: it saves a cookie-banner choice in localStorage, checks contact forms on the client, and loads map and design resources from external providers.

This page describes the browser features currently present on the site.

What to expect

Three browser-level details

The parts covered here are straightforward. Each card points to a feature you can encounter while browsing.

01 / Browser storage

Your banner choice

The cookie notice saves the option you select in localStorage on your device. A saved choice hides that notice when the page loads again.

02

Contact forms

The current form script checks required fields in your browser, shows a confirmation message, then opens the confirmation page. It does not transmit your submission.

03

Outside services

The site loads a Google Maps embed and front-end resources from external providers. Those connections leave this site's pages for the provider's service.

Your selection

A choice saved in this browser

The notice offers “Essential only” and “Accept cookies.” When you choose one, the site writes that choice to browser localStorage under optionuplift-cookie-choice.

On a later page load, the script checks for a saved value and hides the notice if it finds one. The current script does not use that value to configure separate cookie categories.

Stored locally

This preference is held by your browser. Clearing site data there removes the saved value, so the notice can appear again.

What happens when you send the form

The current contact-form flow runs in your browser. It checks the fields and advances to a confirmation page; it does not send the entered details from the form.

01 / Check

Required fields

The browser's built-in validity check runs first. If a required field needs attention, the form shows its validation feedback instead of continuing.

02 / Local interaction

After a valid check, the page displays a short confirmation message and then opens the confirmation route.

03 / No transmission

No form delivery

The current JavaScript prevents the browser's normal form submission. It contains no request that sends the form contents to a server.

Maps and page resources

The site includes a Google Maps embed. The page layout also loads fonts, stylesheets and scripts from external hosts, including Google Fonts, jsDelivr and cdnjs.

Your browser contacts those providers to request their resources. Their handling of those requests is covered by their own information and terms.

When a page loads the map, that map is served by Google rather than being drawn from a local image file on this site.

Fonts and styling

Google Fonts and the listed content delivery networks provide resources used to display the pages.

What we can say here

This page identifies those connections. It does not set out the providers' data practices on their behalf.

On your device

The preference you can reset

The page's cookie-banner setting lives in localStorage, a browser storage feature. It is separate from the form confirmation message.

01 / Choose

Select an option

Click one of the choices in the cookie notice. The script records that button's choice in localStorage.

02 / Return

The notice stays hidden

If the script finds a saved choice on a later load, it hides the banner in that browser.

03 / Clear

Remove browser site data

Clearing local site data in your browser removes the saved preference. The banner may then be shown again.

A note on scope

This page describes the browser-side features in the current site code. It does not provide a retention period or make claims about activity outside those features.
